Welcome to the latest bulletin and news round-up

It has been a rather stressful week in school for staff, with a major migration of IT systems leaving us without any connectivity for long periods and then lots of issues accessing emails and files etc. We’re getting there and it will all be worth it and we’ve had great support from our IT providers and the Trust. If many of us look a bit frazzled though, that’s probably why!

The coming week will be my last as a fifty-something. I hit retirement age next Saturday (9th). A few people out there are aware of this and I have been told that there have been gentle murmerings and rumours that I’ll be retiring this term. Just to put those rumours to bed… I’m planning to keep ploughing on for another year or two yet. Probably no more than that, but I’m not quite ready to go yet. I’ll leave it with you to decide whether that is good or bad news! Mr Hillier
