The Parkdale community are saddened to learn of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second. We convey our heartfelt condolences to her family in these difficult times.
Children and staff at Parkdale attended a special assembly today, Friday 9th September 2022, to inform about and commemorate the Queen’s life and make children aware of the historical significance of this sad event.
Children have been given opportunity to discuss this and any questions, feelings or anxieties it may generate. Class teachers will continue to provide oportunities to learn and discuss and all adults in school are aware of the potential impact on children.
