Here is the latest on the situation with industrial action:

The NASUWT (Teachers) and Unison (Support and Site Staff) are currently balloting on a programme of  action and there is the possibility that they will call on members to to strike before the end of this term. This might lead to a day or a number of days partial or full closure of the school, but we will try to minimise the impact within the law and with regard to union members rights for their action not to be undermined.

The NEU (Teachers) are still under the jurisdiction of their previous ballot and look likely to call for two or three days strike in the week beginning the 3rd of July. This is not definite, but remains a distinct possibility. In all likelihood, this would lead to partial closures; those classes previously affected by the strike days this year,

The NAHT (Headteachers) have recently balloted, with the Executive recommending a programme of strike action and having rejected the Government’s offers on pay and school funding  – we await the outcome of this.
