Yesterday, we took 101 members of Clumber house (the green one!) to the Broadway Cinema in town to see Mummies. This was their treat for being the winning house in the annual race to gather house points for good work, effort and kindness.

A great time was had by all and, as usual, the children were immaculately behaved. The cinema staff were bowled over by their manners and by the fact that they managed to eat so much popcorn without making a mess. We left the cinema spotless! The coach driver of the bus with the KS2 children on it said they were the nicest bunch of children he had ever had, albeit briefly, on his coach.

The race to collect points starts again from the very first day in September, with the usual  treats (the children tend to choose a non-uniform day, but it doesn’t have to be that) for the termly winners.
