Year 5 had a brilliant residential – we’ve received some lovely feedback on the behaviour and engagement of the Year 5 pupils during their residential. From speaking to the staff who helped to lead the residential, it sounds like everyone had lots of fun and created some new special memories. We hope your child had a wonderful time if they attended.
Friday 5th May ‘The King’s Coronation Big Picnic Lunch – we’re looking forward to the picnic on Friday and we hope you’ve managed to access the Aspens food menu. The King’s Coronation Big Picnic Lunch – Parkdale Primary School (parkdale-primary.co.uk)
Everyone is to wear their usual school uniform on Friday 5th May. We apologise for any confusion which may have been caused.
Our staff team enjoyed a visit to the Baitul Hafeez Mosque last week. A special thank you to one of our Governors and Parents, Atif, for warmly welcoming everyone to the Mosque and providing a really interesting tour.
Apple Distinguished School Status – a while back we shared that we had been nominated for ‘Apple Distinguished School Status’. The process incorporates 3 parts. We’ve completed part 1 of the process which included a meeting with Apple to share our vision and the impact of the 1:1 iPad integration so far. We’ll wait to hear if we’ve reached part 2 of the process and will keep you updated, as and when we find out.
