Our girls’ football team completed their League season with a thrilling and hard-fought 1-1 draw at home to Sacred Heart. We conceded an early goal, dominated the match completely, but took until the last minute to grab a well-deserved equaliser. We now have to wait to see if we have finished top or runner-up in our league to qualify for the Champions League knock-out competition. We think the boys have qualified for theirs but are waiting confirmation.

We now have all the required quotes in for the installation of a multi use games area (MUGA) on part of the playground. We hope to have this project completed by September.

Miss Powell (4 Ash) has announced that she is expecting her first baby. She will be on Maternity leave from September. Congratulations to her from us all!

Reminders

Monday 2nd May is a Bank Holiday!

Eid is expected to fall on Monday or Tuesday – we need to know which day our Muslim children are going to be off for this, so we can authorise the absence. A communicaiton has been sent out. Eid Mubarak to all when the time comes.
