A brief bulletin rather than the scheduled full-on Newsletter this week. I’m afraid time has caught up with me (Mr H) after being off poorly Monday to Wednesday. Just notes and reminders for next week really…

Y4 would like a plea for Monopoly board games to borrow for a couple of weeks for our DT project. Any loans from families with children in any year group much appreciated!

From Reception: “We have sent home our Nativity songs and ask that you enjoy practising them at home together,” Mrs Rippon

The oft-postponed flu vaccinations are now scheduled for the 1st of December. If you have already given consent, that still stands. If you hadn’t and wish to add your child, please see the original letter for details of how to consent online. If stuck, ask our Office team!

Today (Friday 26th) is the deadline for booking a school Christmas dinner, please. The kitchen need to place their orders with the suppliers.

Finally, a reminder that next Friday, 3rd December, is the Christmas Fair (3:30-5:30), as ever organised by the wonderful Friends of Parkdale. The fair will be a simplfied, scaled-back version, given the huge and numerous extra challenges faced in organising such an event this year. Nonetheless, we hope it will bring a sense of a return to ‘normality’ and tradition and a fun way to spend a bit of time.
