Here, a day earlier than usual, is the weekly bulletin and round-up

We hosted the Transform Trust Festival of Football last Friday. It was a great success, thanks in no small measure to the wonderful Mr Chell who did a very extended shift, and to parents Frankie and Emma  – report here:

We say goodbaye to the much-loved Rev’d Debs next week. Debs is leaving the area for a new post, so next Wednesday will be her last assembly for us.

Our Book Sale raised £44 – thanks to all who supported this:

We’ve got a pro tennis player visiting tomorrow (Fri 24th):

Also tomorrow, 2:30pm, the special assembly for children nominated for a Transform Trust Award.

Also tomorrow, 3:45 our girls have the biggest football match we’ve been involved in for a while – the semi-final of the Gedling Champions Cup. Here v Richard Bonington.

Y6 SAT results: These are published on Tuesday 5th july – we should ge tthe home saam day or next day at the latest.

Years 3 and 5 have been enjoying some cricket coaching:

A number of Year 4 children enjoyed a morning out at a Mathlympics event run by Nottingham University students:

Year 6 are off for a singing workshop at the Albert Hall:

Year 6 are also creating a special Leavers Podcast!

Staying in Year 6, all their assessment is now complete after external Local Authority moderators came in (today 23.06)  to check their writing. All the levels given by the teachers was agreed and we (or rather the children!) have done very well indeed. Results to come with the SAT results in early July. The moderators were hugely impressed with the quality fo the children’s writing and the depth of knowledge shown by the teachers.

Class swaps – children will meet their new teacher on the afternoon of Thurs 14th July.
