Sadly, yesterday’s continuouis torrential rain put paid to our football ‘a’ team’s first Gedling PSFA match v Burton Joyce. This was a real disappointment, but the match will be re-scheduled. On the subject of football, Y5/6 Tuesday Training is likely to have stopped for the Winter now. We’ll have a look at the light situationm on the first day back, but expect it to be getting dark too early by then.
Last Friday, members of Clumber house enjoyed a belated treat for being the points winners last year. The spending freeze prevented us from organising the traditional cinema trip, but we brought in local magician extraordinare, Roy Bond, to do a magic show to the children. This seemed to go down well and was certainly a different experience for a Friday afternoon!
And that’s about it for this week. You’ll have notuiced that the anticipated OfSTED visit did not materialse, so we still have that to look forward to, presumably fairly soon. On behalf of all the team, have a good week, stay safe and have fun.
