You might have noticed the return of Mrs Burge from her secondment as Acting Head at another school. We’re delighted to have her back and she resumes her Deputy role as the ‘go-to’ person for all matters relating to Key Stage One.

News here of a Coronation picnic on Onchan Park. We’ve been asked to point out that this is a ‘bring-your-own’ event! https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/kings-coronation-community-event/

Information and advice here regarding the UK Emergency alert test on Sunday: https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/uk-emergency-alert/

Year Five have been doing their bit to try to protect orang-utans: https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/wwf-orang-utan-adoption/

A mention here for our football ‘a’ team who won (1-0) a hard fought and very entertaining match against Colwick St John’s on Tuesday to keep alive their hopes of qualification for the Gedling Champions League. We think a win in our fial league nmatch of the season, home to Burton Joyce at 4pm, would see us through. Special mention here for our ‘keeper, Jack S, for what might just be the greatest save anyone present had ever witnessed!

Some news, reminders and and views on homework here: https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/homework/

From the Office:A reminder to book May’s school dinners through the Aspens site if you have not already.

For anyone interested, Mr H is a guest on the BBC Radio Nottingham Breakfast Show tomorrow after the 8am news, discussing his involvement in a campaign around the Hillsborough tragedy. There’s also a related feature before him on just after 7am. If you watch Match of the Day this week, look out for him and his support group with their huge banner at Anfield on Saturday!
