Welcome to this week’s round up of news and information
Firstly, a ‘heads-up’ that the next planned days of industrial action by members of the NEU are for the 15th and 16th of March. At present, we would expect the same classes to be affected as were this week, but will confirm as best we can later next week.
The work to improve the play area between Year One and Reception is taking the builders a bit longer than anticipated. They will continue to be on-site at the beginning of next week, which is likely to mean Years 1 and 2 continuing to go into school via the corridor by the Hall at the top of the playground. We’ll share details and photos of the completed work once it’s all done. It should be a real improvement in the outdoor environment for the children to enjoy.

Great news from the staff team delegated with leading our bid to earn the prestigious ArtsMark accreditation. We have now had our application approved and can begin our journey. We will share plenty of news and developments as we continue with this, the end result fo which should be to make our already extensive arts offer even better for children and the community..
For the Arts Mark process, we would like to find out some more information regarding our families’ engagement with the arts so we have created a form that we would like to send out to families. Your responses would be very welcome here: https://forms.office.com/e/KWN3EQx4mH
