Welcome to this week’s bulletin…
This week, we come ‘live’ from the sofa, as I’m up and about, well enough to do a day’s work, but still testing (very) positive and feeling a bit of a toxic threat to the health of others. I suspect it’ll be Monday before I’m clear and feeling less of a menace. If I’m not in on Friday, have a good day and a lovely weekend everyone.
Mr H
It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, as we hit December and we have lots of festive reminders here:
Wednesday the 14th has a lot going on: Christmas Dinner, KS2 Show and Christmas Jumper Day (we thought it would be nice for the children to do the show in their jumpers !)
Mrs Taylor has set up a Just Giving Page for us and aims to have more details on the website this very afternoon.
Those Key Stage 2 performances are scheduled for both the 14th and 15th, with two shows per day: 2pm and 3:30pm. Look out for a letter with more details.
Key Stage 2 have their trip to the Panto – Oh, yes they do! – next Wednesday, the 7th. Departure at 1:30pm and estimated return between 5:30 and 6pm. Many thanks to Kelly in the Office for undertaking this massive the of sorting buses and who fits onto what!
Year One are having their Mr Men Party this Friday and details should already have been shared.
An important article here about nuts and nut allergies – if possible, we’d like to see less Nutella in sandwiches! https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/nutella/
News of Mrs Hinton’s fabulous award and her big night out to receive it: https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/mrs-hintons-award-2/
As per the introduction, Mr Hillier is off poorly: https://parkdale-primary.co.uk/mr-hs-absence/
We’re expecting the OfSTED report to be published next week and we’ll pass it onto you as soon as it lands.
