Today (Friday 8th) is ‘Apple Day’ at Parkdale.  Every child will have an opportunity to pick an apple from a tree in our orchard. They will then bring the apple home to eat.

Our orchard was planted a few years ago and comprises a number of traditional English apple varieties, some rare and otherwise in decline or threatened. Our apples are organic. They look a little smaller and the skins might have a few marks because we do not use any pesticides or other nasties on them. They still taste delicious.
