We’ve thoroughly enjoyed welcoming the new Y6 pupils and are proud of their start to the new school year. They’ve made a brilliant start to Y6!

We’ve had a fun packed start, including: choosing our class ‘read for pleasure’ book by voting (Holes by Louis Sachar won), creating an identity silhouette art outcome, reflecting on our own identities and what is important to us, drama and role plays in response to our values and PSHE ‘Negotiation’ & ‘Compromise’, lots of discussion in our first online safety lesson on ‘stereotypes’ and ‘communication online’ and a taster of French!

Well done to the Y6 pupils – it’s going to be a fantastic year!
